#22 - Time flies, and yet it was just yesterday

Tonight we light a Yahrtzeit candle for the prior Vault Goddess.

Hard to believe it's been three years since she walked away from the Vault.

I miss her everyday.

#21 - A picture's worth a thousand words

A week into the New Year and before I jaunted out yesterday for my 1st callback in #*^&$ years, I did a quick dive into the Vault for some words of wisdom from dear old Mom. Here's what came out:

This was pretty typical of the prior Vault Goddess; hanging on to the returned film from a roll of 36 photos (when people really did way more film then they do now - see it's marked from 1994) where NONE of the photos turned out.

I took this as a sign that I need to create my own moments to capture. Happy to report I did just that - I got cast in a show.

I can hear the prior Vault Goddess, and boy is she proud.

#20 (or should I say #2011).

Welcome to the New Year: may it bring prosperity, abundance, health, happiness, and many new treasures to the surface for us all.

The Vault has been pretty cold lately - it's friggin' freezing outside, and though most of the insulation works well in the summer (keeping the Vault cool), in the winter: well, it's not an icebox, but there's no heat pumping in. Perhaps a new scarf will surface in the next Treasure hunt.

On another note, friends of the Vault came up with a brilliant idea for this year: it's a project to do something every day. If you are so inclined, please feel free to join in our little event for 2011, and if you'd like to participate, or have us list YOUR blog or website about your 365 day project, please email or post a comment there.

You'll be happy to know that the staff here at the Vault would like to participate, and will attempt to spleunk and post on a daily basis (we'll have to do our best to sweep the cobwebs away as we delve deeper in the Vault). We'll have to see how that develops. In the meantime, later today, post #21 may appear with a new treasure find.

Till then, Happy Trails and Happy New Year all!
