#32 - Which way is the wind blowing?

We lie on the cusp of a New Year (and new opportunities for Vault discoveries).

We've had unbelievable winds here lately, and as we're planning our next sojourn back to the Windy City for a visit, it's time to see what timely wonders the Vault has in store for us:

Found this hidden gem in the box with lots of other "miniatures" (aka Doll Furniture).  Who knew there was a whole society about miniatures.  I mean, I remember having to construct those things when taking set design classes and having to make a miniature for class.  It looks like a real art form.

I'm planning to see the "Thorne Miniature Rooms" at the Art Institute on this visit.  I think that's where the Vault goddess developed her love for those things.  I understand from one my Vault siblings that these things can sell well on eBay.

We may have to try that, once the winds subside.

In the meantime, I'd like to resolve to post about the Vault more often in 2015.

Wonderful changes imminent next year.

Happy New Year to you and yours.

Now Serving #31-New Year's Resolution redux

It seems I got lost in the Vault (oh, just for the last year or so) and just now re-emerged.

So much to tell, so little time.

I wanted to make sure to get a post down PRIOR to 2015 (or at least get one IN for 2014).  I'm sure if I spelunked enough around here I'd find a list of New Year's Resolutions from the prior Vault Goddess;  if I do so, I'll post them.

In the meantime, MY resolution is to continue the task I began - to unearth treasures long left behind.  Tomorrow I promise to post at least one for 2014, and then continue again into 2015.

Let's see how long that resolve can last.
