Let see, where did we leave off? Was it after Covid started but before this year's fires? The election? The attempted Coup d'etat and insurrection? "
Yup - that was a blog post started two days after the idiocy and terror of fascism reared its ugly head in a way so heinous, we never could have imagined it could happen here. Yet it did. Domestic terrorist stormed the US capital. And now, 7, almost 8 months later, what has changed? Well, the "big lie" continues to attempt to be perpetuated. Elephant rulers across the states are doing everything they can to prevent voting, since apparently, they realize that's the only way they'll ever win back power. Biden became President with the first female, first half black/half asian VP, and they are doing a redux of the New Deal days of FDR (gad, we sure need that right now).
And yet - still working from home, though they think for not much longer, but Covid continues because there are so many sheeple in this country that think that the vaccine is going to implant microchips into their systems. 'My freedom' they cry! Yes, these same mostly white surpremacist yahoos think it's ok to regulate MY body and control mass swaths of BIPOC across the US. And the Covid Delta variant (and more) are mutating since we haven't yet reached herd immunity because of these idiots. And we continue to kill the planet.
But I digress.
Attempts of late to continue to spleunk AND sell are slightly hampered by bad and old technology.
And oh did I mention that I wrote part of, acted in part of and directed an entire 41 minute film this year?
Yeah, really haven't see much happening since this Covid thing started.
We are hopeful for future travels and time will only tell what comes of things in another 6 months.
So in closing - yup, the shit just keeps on coming. But the sun rises each morning, and sets each night, and so far (fingers crossed), fire hasn't evacuated us - this year.
